| Bio: | I am a female adult who loves to read books. I enjoy discussing and recommending them. You might say they are my hobby and addiction. I read anything I can get my hands on. I also enjoy reading YA (young adult) and other kid books. I love anything with a supernatural/paranormal or fantasy or science-fiction slant. I also enjoy mysteries, humor/comedy, westerns, and non-fiction like biographies or any history or research type book.
Other things I enjoy is watching movies and I am a die-hard Firefly/Serenity fan (browncoat)and Star Trek nut. I am enthralled with the possibilities of the Terminator universe and big time Supernatural fan after watching season 1. Same with Heroes. Is it bad to love Sylar? Yes? Awww...man...
Comic books, graphic novels, anime and manga are also a weakness of mine though I don't get to keep up with that as I should on some titles. So expensive and I get irritated having to wait so long for the next installment. Have I mentioned I have no patience and want instant gratification?
I also enjoy collecting artist's work. Some from the comic industry, some from the fantasy/sci-fi or children's book illustrations. I just started collecting prints of book covers. I enjoy drawing, dancing, biking, hiking, playing some sports and learning. Yes, I am a total geek who actually enjoyed school. I love studying whatever catches my fancy. I enjoy learning about different cultures and love history. I am also fascinated and studying various languages, religions, and philosophies. I also love to excercise and sometimes comment on whatever I am working out to at the moment. I am also a nut about anything related to space and can be found often using my telescopes despite it being so cold at night. Luckily, I am married to a wonderful, patient husband who is willing to help feed my book addiction by surprising me often by taking me to a bookstore (or 3) who shares my space interest and plans on snitching a spaceship (or two).
